A Sprint Distance Triathlon is a triathlon event typically half the length of an Olympic Tri. The event gets its name both from the reduced length, and from the all out effort athletes put in to get a super fast time over the shorter distance.
Sprint event distances vary but typically consist of a 750m Swim (or 400m in a pool swim), 20 km Bike section and a 5 km Run
