The Boston Marathon is one of the world’s greatest sporting events. It is also one of the six World Marathon Majors. Like the city itself it is steeped in history. Nearly a million Bostonian’s come out to cheer on the runners and we guarantee you will never forget the experience. Note we are only permitted to sell packages to Irish Residents.

Provisional Travel Itinerary for the 2022 Boston Marathon Tour

Friday 14th April 2023:

Depart Dublin to Boston Logan International Airport with Aer Lingus. You will be met at Logan International Airport by our Sports Travel Guide and transferred by private coach to the Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill. Dependant on your arrival time, there may be chance to head to the expo for bib collection.

Saturday 15th/Sunday 16th April 2023:

On Saturday morning at 7.15am our guide will lead out a short jog along the nearby Charles river. Rest of the day at leisure to explore Boston.

After collecting your race number and registration details from the EXPO at the Hynes Convention Centre if you haven’t done so already, you have the day to yourself to explore! Enjoy the fabulous shops, markets, bars and restaurants. Speak to our guide for advice on where to go and what to do to make the most of this amazing city!

Monday 17th April: Boston Marathon 2023

Boston Marathon race day! Our Sports Travel Guide will accompany the group from the hotel on Monday morning to the official race bus departure point on Boston Common, just a short walk away from the hotel.

Non-Running Supporters meet guide at 9.30am to head out to the 16.8 mile mark at Washington Street in Woodland – the start of Heartbreak Hill. This is a great place to support your runner.

We will then be there to greet you on your return and congratulate you on today’s success.

Join us in the hotel bar for complimentary drinks (2 per person – wine, beer or soft drink) to celebrate your achievement with your fellow runners and our staff.

Tuesday 18th April 2023:

A morning free to finish off your sightseeing and shopping in Boston. You can also join us on a trip to Harvard, at 9.45am we head out to Harvard to enjoy a visit of this world-famous college. Transport and entry cost payable locally at your own cost. Then our private coach transfer from the Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill on Tuesday afternoon to Logan International Airport for your flight home, departing on an overnight scheduled service with Aer Lingus.
