Please make your own way to the hotel. Please make your own flight arrangements in to Venice Marco Polo airport and, if you have booked for transfers from the airport with us, then you will be met by our bike guide on arrival.

From Venice Marco Polo Airport we will run airport transfers to the resort of Alta Badia at 13.00* and 18.00*. The transfer is long at about 4 hours, so we advise that you bring some food and drink for the journey.

*The transfer will leave from the airport at 13.00 and 18.00 ONLY, so please ensure that your flight arrives at least 45 minutes before your chosen time, so that you can be at the bus ready to depart for that time. If your flight arrives after 13.00, or you are unable to pass through arrivals in time for 13.00, the bus will depart and you will need to wait for the 18.00 transfer.

Our bike guides and mechanics will offer any assistance you need unpacking and re-assembling your bike. In the late afternoon we will hold a race briefing virtually. In the evening, our guides will be available for any further assistance you might require. Tonight we will enjoy an excellent meal at the hotel.

Today, following breakfast, we will ride the short distance to the race expo and registration area. The atmosphere here will give you a taste of what’s to come. After this, the rest of the day is free for you to rest before tomorrow’s event or go for a short ride. An evening meal will be provided at the hotel this evening.

IMPORTANT: For the Maratona dles Dolomites – Enel 2022 we can NO LONGER accept cycling licenses. Each participant needs their own, valid medical certificate.

To Register;

1. You will receive a link from the Maratona organisers. You need to fill in all data required and upload your medical certificate
2. The registration will only be confirmed once the participant has fully completed the registration

Starting number needs to be picked up in person by each participant who must take with them the following:

• the voucher which each participant will receive via email in June
• an original valid identification document (identity card, passport or driving license). No copies of the ID or other ID’s allowed.

Third party number pickup is not allowed, nor is the medical certificate required at bib collection, as it will have already been uploaded into the registration system.

Today is the day you’ve been waiting for, it’s Maratona day. You are one of the lucky 9000 who has secured an entry for today’s event. After an early breakfast, we will ride down to the start. The race commences at 06h30, but you will need to be in your pen by 06h15 at the latest, as this is when the pens close. If you arrive after this time, you will automatically be sent to the final pen. After the finish we will all meet back at the hotel and discuss the days events over a few beers (or whatever takes your fancy) followed by the evening meal.

 We will provide 2 transfers this morning to Venice Marco Polo airport for your return flight. If you have booked this service, you will be picked up directly from your hotel. Our early transfer will depart at 06.00 for flights after 12.00 and later one will be at 09.00 and cater for flights departing after 15.00.
