The 2020 Tour of Flanders, holds a prestigious place on the cycling calendar as one of the famous monuments of cycling and the first Cobbled Classic of the year. takes place on Sunday 5 April 2020 with the RVV Cyclo Sportive on Saturday 4 April 2020 so the day before. Sports Travel International offers transport, hotels, bike rental and VIP access for the 2020 Ronde van Vlaanderen weekend as well as guaranteed entry for the Tour of Flanders Cyclo Sportive.

For the 2020 Tour of Flanders weekend Sports Travel International offer you the opportunity to ride in the famous We Ride Flanders event on the Saturday, the Tour of Flanders RVV Cyclo amateur event. Then, on Sunday, you can watch the Pros as they take on the same course. De Ronde van Vlaanderen is also known as ‘Vlaanderen’s mooiste’ (Flanders’ finest) and the event itself is certainly a , spectacle, festival and celebration of cycling on the roads of Vlaanderen in Belgium.

We give all keen amateurs the chance to ride in, any of the various,k RVV Cyclo-Sportive distances, including the full distance version of the event which sets out from Antwerp. Any rented bikes will be delivered upon your arrival and fitted by our mechanic. All of our bikes include: two bottle holders, spare inner tubes , pump and tyre levers. Please bring pedals, your own helmet and clothing suitable for cycling in. Below prices are for 3 days rental. Prices shown below include insurance.

Your Flanders Sportive entry delivered to you

When you order a We Ride Flanders entry through us, we register for you, on your behalf, and your number will be at your hotel in Ghent, available to pick up, on Friday for no additional charge If you arrange entry for yourself, you will need to join a queue of many other cyclists and collect your race number in person.

2020 Tour of Flanders CycloSportive/ We Ride Flanders CycloSportive

When you book a the Tour of Flanders, as part of a Sports Travel International package, you are also presented with the opportunity to ride the Tour of Flanders route as part of the Cyclo-Sportive held the day before the pro race. There are four choices of event distance which you can choose from: the 75 km, 130 km and 170 km sportives, all set out from Oudenaarde, and the 230km distance, taking on the full Tour of Flanders route, heads out from Antwerp. We will take you, direct from your hotel, to the start of your race, regardless of which distance you elect,and then meet with you after you have finished. All events finish in Oudenaarde.
- 237 km – Starts from Antwerp – transfer from Ghent on Saturday morning – €88

Summary of your Tour of Flanders weekend

This particular cobbled classic is well known for its several short sharp climbs. The race heads out of Antwerp and includes, among its climbs, the famous Muur van Geraardsbergen. In the closing section of the race, the course follows the usual finishing circuit with the Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg. We offer support on all sportive distance options, including the full 230 km route from Antwerp.

Arrival day-Friday 3 April, 2020

2020 We Ride Flanders Cyclo/ Tour of Flanders Sportive-Saturday 4 April

- Transfer to Oudenaarde for start of the shorter distances – race scheduled to get underway between 07.00 – 09.00 for mid distance and 07.00 – 10.00 for short distance.
- All events finish in Oudenaarde
- Private Sports Tours International assistance point en route, for use of Sports Travel clients (long distance only)
- Drink and sandwich ready for you at the finish
- Transfers, from Oudenaarde, back to Ghent, taken in order of finish time.

2020 Tour of Flanders VIP and Hospitality programmes

BUS ‘START TO FINISH’ – VIP EXPERIENCE – €523 per person

A former pro cyclist will be your guide on the bus today. After a leisurely and luxurious VIP breakfast at Antwerp’s Hilton Hotel, you will be granted access to the team zone where professional cyclists will be preparing for the race. You will also have access to the VIP start area, which is right in front of the start. After the race gets underway, you will head off in a VIP-coach, stopping en-route to indulge in Champagne and a vast and varied XXL-packed lunch. Experience the race like never before with several LIVE viewing points for passages of the professional riders along the way!

Your day finishes with an excellent viewing position of the finish line from the VIP grandstands of Flanders Classics Club in Oudenaarde followed by a prestigious drinks reception after the race at the Flanders Classics Club and return transport to the start location.

3X OUDE KWAREMONT – €424 per person

Your VIP shuttle awaits you in Oudenaarde, from where you will be taken down to ‘De Oude Kwaremont’ until 10.45.When you arrive there, you will be greeted with Champagne and snacks, followed by a buffet lunch featuring an open bar. You will see the women of the Tour of Flanders pro race, as they pass once and the Elite Men will go past 3 times. For the entire experience an open bar will be available to you and there will be big screens on which you can watch the race live. There will be a personalised seating plan and, following the race, there will be an impressive drinks reception featuring live music. A shuttle service will be provided for transport back to Oudenaarde.

VIP BUS & 3X OUDE KWAREMONT – €583

This package combines the VIP-bus experience with ‘3X Oude Kwaremont’.

FLANDERS CLASSICS CLUB – €275 per person

This exclusive VIP-formula takes place right next to the finish line in Oudenaarde. Celebrate in style the finish of the 101st Tour of Flanders, and enjoy a front row position. When you arrive, enjoy a welcome from the Flanders Classics hostesses, with drinks and snacks included, and indulge in the extensive buffet lunch with open bar. The race will be broadcast live, on large TV screens, so that you can follow all the action, as it happens, and you will see both the finish of the men’s and women’s races. After the race finishes, you can enjoy an extensive drinks reception, featuring live music performances.

VIP – RONDE VAN VLAANDERENSTRAAT – €275 per person

This programme is full of atmosphere and takes place in the beautiful Flanders Classics VIP tent at the Hotond. ‘De Hotond’, south of Oudenaarde, is one of the ‘bergs’ that features in the Tour of Flanders. It can be scaled from 6 different directions. In the Tour of Flanders, it is climbed from the north side. You will see the women, as they take on this hill once, and the men will tackle it 3 times. Watch from this spectacular vantage point, for the ultimate race experience!
ITINERARY
Arrival day – Friday 3 April, 2020 –

Today is about getting you into Ghent, via your preferred method, You can make your own way by car, or air.

If you have booked bike rental with us then it will be available today.

Flying in to Brussels?

If you want to come and join us in Belgium, without taking one of the coaches from the UK, we will also be running a transfer from the airport to our hotel in Ghent. Tell us of your flight details at the time of booking and we will collect you from Brussels airport at either 11.00 or at 16.00. Airport transfers for flights after 16:00 cannot be accommodated. On departure we provide one transfer back to Brussels airport for flights after 10:00 and another for flights after 12:00.

Driving yourself to Ghent?

If you wish to make your own way to Ghent then meet us at the hotel, then please inform us of your plans in advance. We will still have your entry pack ready for you on arrival and we will still provide you with transfers for Sportive day and on Pro race day. We advise that you make your parking arrangements well in advance

Tour of Flanders Sportive/ We Ride Flanders – Saturday 4 April 2020

The full distance sportive will head out of Antwerp and will take in the Muur van Geraardsbergen. All 3 of the shorter distances start in Oudenaarde. All sportives, including the longer distance, will finish in Oudenaarde.

After a specially arranged early breakfast we will head to either Oudenaarde or Antwerp for the start of the Tour of Flanders sportives. Those taking part in the full distance event will be taken to the same start point as the pro race,in Antwerp, which is approximately 55 km from Ghent. The other distances all start in Oudenaarde. At the finish, we will be waiting, with a well-deserved complimentary drink and sandwich for you, after which you and your bike will be transported back to Ghent, departing in order of your finish times

The 2020 Tour of Flanders/ 2020 Ronde van Vlaanderen – Sunday 5 April, 2020

Today the Professional race of the Tour of Flanders will take place. We have 3 viewing options available to you today:
1. You can go to Antwerp where the race will start, early this morning, and watch as the pro peloton get going ,before coming with us to Oudenaarde. We will be departing, to watch the start early at 08.00. – Supplement of €30 pp if booked as part of our package.
2. You can come straight to Oudenaarde and enjoy the full schedule of events there. This includes watching the start, and finish, of the women pros, and watching as both the men’s and women’s events pass by, a few times each, plus of course the finish of the men’s race. For the trip to Oudenaarde you will get an extra hour in bed as we will leave at 09.00 – included with your travel package
3. You can also book official 2020 Tour of Flanders hospitality today. 2020 Tour of Flanders Sunday VIP access and hospitality (see detail tab for more information of these excellent experiences to make your Tour Of Flanders trip even more memorable).
Option 1 – Antwerp and Oudenaarde

For those who wish to see the start, we will set off early to get to Antwerp. After watching the start we will move to Oudenaarde where you can stay, or take the free shuttle over to ‘de Oude Kwaremont’ – the last shuttle bus will leave from Oudenaarde at 12.30 (please note that we may not get back in time to catch the 12.30 cut off in which case you need to stay in Oudenaarde).
1. Ghent to Antwerp – Collection at 08.00 from Ghent
2. Antwerp to Oudenaarde – Collection from Antwerp at 11.00 to go to Oudenaarde
3. Oudenaarde to Ghent at the end of the day – Collection at 18.30 from Oudenaarde
Option 2 – Ghent to Oudenaarde

For those who wish to leave a bit later and don’t want to see the start, we will set off a bit later to get to Oudenaarde for a full programme of race day activities.
1. Ghent to Oudenaarde – Collection from Ghent at approximately 09.00
2. Oudenaarde to Ghent at the end of the day – Collection at 18.30
In Oudenaarde there will be large TV screens, plentiful food, a bar, everything you need for a day at the bike races. There will also be a free shuttle to the Oude Kwaremont which runs until 12.30 where you will be able to see the riders of the men’s race come past 3 times. You will also get the chance to see the women’s 2020 Tour of Flanders.

- 11.00: start of Tour of Flanders for women in the Oudenaarde marketplace
- 12.25: Passage women on the Wolvenberg
- 12.30: Passage Tour of Flanders men at the market in Oudenaarde
- 13.10: Passage Eikenberg and Wolvenberg
- 13.15: Passage cobblestone zone Ruiterstraat/Kerkgate
- 14.45: Finish women at Minderbroedersstraat in Oudenaarde
- 15.10: Passage men Koppenberg
- 16.10: Finish men at Minderbroedersstraat in Oudenaarde

Please check out of the hotel and make your own onward travel arrangements or make use of our airport transfer. We will run 1 departure transfer which will arrive at Brussels airport at 08.00 for flights after 10.00 and another to arrive at 10.00 for flights that depart after 12.00 so please book flights to fit with these transfer times.
