Sports Travel International welcomed guests, including Irish Cyclist Lara Gillespie, to the Conrad Hotel to celebrate a new era, and new logo, for the Dublin based tour operator.
In 2018 Sports Travel International became part of the Sports Tours International family, one of Europe’s largest multi-sport travel companies, which has added to more events and more sports to their offering.
During the event the team unveiled its new logo and heard from group CEO Chris Bird.
Chris, CEO of Sports Tours International, has experience steeped in business, sport and media, and his family heritage is deeply rooted in Ireland. His father Paddy was born in Rotunda hospital and his family lived in Crumlin. Chris ran the Dublin Marathon on 27th October in memory of Paddy, raising money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Chris talked to guests about his family’s deep connection to Ireland, his passion for sport and travel, and the vision for the expansion of Sports Travel International, including the recent addition of cycling tours.

We are looking forward to a very exciting future. ”
